After-School Program

What makes Dorothy Bennett Mercy Center unique?

Our Youth Enrichment Programs offer more than just homework help. Social, Emotional development done through our activities reflect what impact our youths have on their community and allows them to discover how powerful one small voice can be. We provide mentally challenging and engaging activities that promote problem solving skills to assist in their development.? We are not your typical After-school program.? We help our students learn how to foster healthy relationships with their peers by having them participate in team building activities. ?We also help Ignite a passion of literacy through our weekly visits to our local library as we help the students in understanding the importance of literacy. To the children at our center we are a haven where they are free to express themselves in other communication/self-expression forms such as art, drama, and song. ?Our center is a place where children are allowed to develop into the best versions of themselves in a welcoming, inclusive environment with their best interests at heart.
